Samsung picks KL to reveal first-ever four-lens smartphone

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 (Bernama) – Streamed live to overseas media, and before some 300 guests, the Samsung Galaxy A9 with the world’s first rear quad camera set-up was unveiled today.

With four lenses, it provides more ways to explore one’s creativity and capture stunning images.

The pioneering smartphone comes with a 24MP main lens, 2x optical zoom, Scene Optimizer and Depth Lens for the freedom to manually adjust depth of field.

Sleek, with a 3D glass curved back, it comes in three unique colours: Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink.

The latest smartphone from Samsung also features Bixby, Samsung Pay, Samsung Health and several multi-tasking advantages.

“As a global leader in smartphone innovation, we understand the demand for meaningful innovation in a fast-paced world driven by visual communication,” said Samsung Electronics IT and mobile communications division president and chief executive officer, DJ Koh, at the unveiling in W Kuala Lumpur.
