SHAH ALAM, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- The production team of  ‘Paskal The Movie’ today donated RM30,000 to the families of the Water Rescue Unit (PPDA) of the Fire and Rescue Department (JPBM) who died while trying to rescue a youth who fell into a mining pool in  Taman Putra Perdana, Puchong on Oct 3.

Group managing director of Multimedia Entertainment Sdn Bhd Datuk Steven Lim handed the donations to Selangor JBPM director Azmi Osman in a simple ceremony at the Selangor JBPM headquarters here.

Also present were director of the film Adrian Teh as well as actors Hairul Azreen, Theeban G, Jasmine Suraya Chin, and Ammar Alfian.

In his speech, Lim said the donation would hopefully help lighten the burden of the families of the firefighters.

“The donation is our way of showing our appreciation for these unsung heroes who lost their lives in the line of duty,” he said.....
