SHAH ALAM, March 14 (Bernama) -- The MIC Youth has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Selangor Government to provide an explanation on the issues involving the construction of the Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Ladang Coalfields in Kuala Selangor.
Its information chief, P. Punithan said the party and the school's parent-teacher association were in the dark as to what transpired in the last couple of years with regard to the project.
"We have been waiting for years for the state government to give us a reply on the issues surrounding the construction of the SJKT Ladang Coldfields, where we were told only six classrooms would be built as opposed to the original promise to build 18 classrooms.
"I think 48 hours is a reasonable period for the Selangor Government and menteri besar to give us a reply or else be prepared to face the consequences," he told reporters after handing over a letter of demand seeking an explanation from Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali on the construction of the project, at the lobby of the State Secretariat building here today.
The letter of demand was received by a news officer from the Selangor Menteri Besar's office, Shahril Said.....
