KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 (Bernama) -- Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIGP) Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim, whose service has been extended for another year, is determined to continue bringing down the crime index.
He said the government's decision to extend his service was a trust given to him in shouldering responsibilities in the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP).
The DIGP vowed to deliver his best to the people and country in upholding peace and public order.
"I would like to thank the government and RMP's leadership for entrusting me to shoulder this responsibility," Noor Rashid told Bernama when contacted here today.
He said he would serve in accordance with the needs of the community and ensure that the force would always be sensitive to the community's surrounding.....
