Pregnant Woman Facing Child Abuse Charges To Sent Representation To AGC

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 14 (Bernama) -- A pregnant woman who is charged with abusing her three children, including a 10-month-old baby girl, is sending a representation to the Attorney-General's Chamber (AGC) for the charges to be dropped.

Lawyer Kelvinder Singh Sidhu informed the Ampang Sessions Court here today that his 22-year-old client, who is four months pregnant, wanted to change her plea to not guilty.

"We have received all documents on the case, the accused pleaded not guilty and intended to sent a letter of representation," he informed judge Mohamad Kamil Nizam.

Deputy public prosecutor M.Arunjothy, who prosecuted, did not object to it.

The court set March 22 for mention.....
