PUTRAJAYA, April 16 (Bernama) -- National Association of Wives of Civil Servants and Women Civil Servants (Puspanita) and the Women Development Department under the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry have allocated RM100,000 for 2018 Women's Capacity Development Training Programme.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa said the allocation to be distributed to 200 women including eligible Puspanita members was RM500 each to attend capacity building courses.
Among the fields are entrepreneurship, 4.0 industrial revolution, digital economy, financial literacy, online product marketing and other courses to empower women.
"The government will continue to be committed to build and create a sustainable ecosystem to ensure more women participation in the new industries, " he said when opening the Annual Puspanita Health Seminar here today.
Ali who is also Puspanita advisor said the allocation was in line with the announcement of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak that 2018 is the Year of Women Empowerment when he was tabling this year´s budget.....
