He knew instantly that the celebrated author at today's event, a book launching ceremony, put his family first over everything else and that the event was indeed a family inspired event.
"Rightly so," Datuk Seri Tunku Naquiyuddin Tuanku Ja'afar said when asked by Bernama at the ceremony here, today. "It was my eldest son who inspired me to write this book".
Tunku Naquiyuddin is the eldest son of the 10th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Ja'afar Tuanku Abdul Rahman, and the author of a memoir launched today entitled 'A Succession of Destiny: My Life in Stories'
"My eldest son said: You've done seven decades .Shouldn't you tell your story? And initially I said 'tak payahlah' (no need).
"But I finally thought about it and realised I have gone through a lot of experiences. So that's how the book idea started," said Tunku Naquiyuddin.....
