SEREMBAN, Jan 14 (Bernama) -- Two Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) employee have been have been placed on six-day remand from today to assist investigations into a graft case involving illegal sale of the company's cables over the past two years.
The remand order was issued by Special Court for Corruption Assistant Registrar Nur Hayatie Mohd Saini after allowing an application by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) prosecuting officer Mohd Khairi Abdul Karim here, today.
The two suspects who were clad in MACC lock-up attire arrived at the court at 10.30am.
The assistant technical officers, aged 29 and 30, from the Southern Johor TM branch were detained at the TM exchange in Johor Bahru between 4.25pm and 5.30pm yesterday.
The case involves alleged illegal release of Lite Kabel branded drop fibre-optic cables from Telekom Malaysia's (TM) 'store room' at the exchange.....
