GEORGE TOWN, Jan 12 (Bernama) -- Police have arrested two teenage boys and launched a manhunt to track down two more accomplices on suspicion of being involved in housebreaking in Seberang Perai Tengah district.
Seberang Perai Tengah district police chief ACP Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid said the boys aged 13 and 15 years, were nabbed at Jalan Perniagaan Alma 2, at 4.45 am after being reported to have broken into a house in Taman Impian Alma.
"The victim discovered his house was broken into when he woke up and saw the light of flashlight flickering in his room and as soon as he got up, the suspect fled. Among the items missing are a mobile phone and RM7,000 cash," he said here today adding that the two teenagers who were expelled from school last year were believed to have been involved in at least five housebreaking cases since last month.
In another case, Nik Ros Azhan said two teenagers aged 16 and 18 believed to be motorcycle theft gang members were detained in raid at a house in Kampung Baru Alma, near here yesterday.
The suspects who were tested positive for drugs and had been expelled from school were picked up at 5 pm he said adding that police also recovered two motorcycles reported stolen, several motorcycle frames and components in the raid.....
