JOHOR BAHRU, Jan 3 (Bernama) -- Johor water services firm SAJ Ranhill will ensure that relief centres at flood affected areas in the state have adequate water supply.
SAJ Ranhill Corporate Communications chief Jamaluddin Jamal said staff in all districts were on alert and constantly monitored the water supply at the relief centres involved.
"Our staff are always monitoring, especially at the relief centres. We will see, if the water supply is inadequate will do whatever we can to supply it to them. If not through the pipe, we will park tankers or static tanks in those places so that flood victims can get enough water.
"All staff in all districts are also urged to keep in mind that during heavy rain, there is possibility of a landslide occurring, which may in turn cause pipes to break or leak, so we should be more proactive in with our follow-up action when such situations occur," he told reporters at his office here, today.
On the collaboration with Best FM radio station's Morning Squad Flood Relief Mission, Jamaluddin said due to the uncertain weather in recent days, supply of basic necessities to the relief centres was crucial.....
