KUALA LUMPUR, 3 Jan. (Bernama) -- Samsung Electronics will launch the first QLED curved monitor featuring Intel's Thunderbolt 3 connectivity at the CES 2018 exhibition in Las Vegas between Jan 9 and Jan 12.
In a statement today, Samsung said the 34-inch CJ791 model aligns single-source power and processing speed with an exceptional picture quality for a comfortable and productive user experience.
Designed for entertainment and business audiences, users can link and dock their monitor and laptop without extensive wiring to give four times faster processing speed than USB alternatives allowing connectivity across devices including Macs, USB type-C laptops, and other desktop accessories such as storage drives or external graphics cards.
Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, Seog-gi Kim said the CJ791 aligns Thunderbolt 3 connectivity with best-in-class curvature and QLED picture quality to captivate and engage users while promoting improved organisation and productivity.
"As the pioneer of the curved monitor industry, Samsung continues to seek new ways to refine our displays and exceed consumers' expectations on heightened performance and presentation," he said.
