KLANG (Bernama) -- Wheelchair-bound Azila Alias is not only a successful entrepreneur but a Paralympic medallist too.

The 45-year-old is the bronze medal winner of table tennis at the 2017 Asian Paralympic Games held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec).

Her life as a successful entrepreneur today is a far cry from what it was 14 years ago, when she had to quit her job due to health complications.

"It is not easy for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) to find a job because many still see us as unable to perform regular tasks like able-bodied persons.

"Sometimes the work premises is disabled-friendly but potential employers come up with a number of excuses to not hire disabled people," the wheelchair bound Azila told Bernama in an interview recently.....
