IPOH (Bernama) -- Imagine sleeping beneath millions of twinkling stars and waking up to the majestic sight of 400-year-old limestone hills, unspoilt greenery and a natural lake that had existed since the 19th century.
This is what the writer and 10 of her friends got to experience recently when they went "glamping" at the Lost World of Tambun, a theme park and hotel located in Sunway City, here.
Glamping, by the way, is short for "glamorous camping", which is a fusion of luxury and camping complete with all the creature comforts ? certainly a far cry from traditional camping.
Our brief two day-one night glamping experience started with a buggy ride around the 40-hectare theme park and hotel.
The theme park's many attractions aside, what grabbed my attention were the five camps erected under the limestone hills and one over the lake at the southern end of the property.....
