FINTERRA SIGNS MOU WITH DHS TO ESTABLISH ENDOWMENT FUND
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 -- Finterra Technologies Sdn Bhd recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with DHS Hospitality Academy Sdn Bhd (DHS) to establish an endowment fund on a platform built on blockchain.
Under this new partnership, Finterra enables DHS to establish the endowment fund which will go towards the industry training and work attachment programmes offered by DHS, specifically to the hospitality sector.
The signatories of the MoU were Finterra’s executive chairman and its director of Waqf, while DHS was represented by its chief executive officer, Dr Sri Kumar Sivakumaran.
DHS, a work-based learning academy is a smart partner of the University of Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCED). UMCCED has developed a number of programmes with DHS to meet the strategic demands of the hospitality industry, according to a statement.
Finterra is an organisation providing blockchain-based Islamic applications. Established in 2017, it currently has offices in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Oman and UAE, with plans to further expand into Africa and Middle East.
