EDOTCO APPOINTS 2 NEW DIRECTORS

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 (Bernama) -- edotco Group (edotco), an end-to-end integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company, today announced two new director appointments to the leadership team, in line with the company’s growth and new focus areas

Megat Mohd Zukarlai Meor Zailan has been appointed as director of business acceleration for edotco Group, with Azizee Abdul Aziz appointed as director of group operations, according to a statement by edotco today.

Megat will be responsible for developing the next generation technologies portfolio which includes pushing in building solutions, distributed antenna systems, small cells and fibre across the six countries in which edotco has a presence.

He will also be responsible for establishing strategic partnerships that will lead to growing new business areas.

Megat is highly experienced in the telecommunications industry and has held multiple leadership positions in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Malaysia over the past 22 years.

Meanwhile Azizee will be responsible for continuing the company’s drive for digital operations and analytics.

Azizee joins edotco after gaining extensive experience managing network quality, network operations, network engineering and network planning for Celcom over the past 23 years.

“We are delighted to welcome Megat and Azizee into the organisation. They bring with them significant experience and expertise in growing a business, leading international teams and building stakeholder relationships,” group chief executive officer Suresh Sidhu said. 

Sidhu said edotco is experiencing exponential growth right now and their valuable experience blends well with the group’s dynamic business environment and culture.

edotco currently owns and manages over 28,500 towers across the six countries.
