ONE-STOP CENTRE, ROAD SHOW TO EMPOWER BUMIPUTERA DEVELOPMENT
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 2 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development (MED) will create a one-stop centre, which will, among others, store data and information on entrepreneurs, gather feedback, provide advisory service and coordinate complaints on entrepreneurial matters in a move to further empower the development of Bumiputera entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
It will also carry out road shows, from early September, to every state, beginning with Sarawak, to engage with entrepreneurs and both the minister and his deputy will be present, said a statement from the ministry.
"Focus will also be given to the new generation of entrepreneurs to ensure the Bumiputera entrepreneur industry will have the capability to move forward and be globally competitive," it said, adding that the ministry had decided on these quick measures after receiving feedback from delegates who attended the Congress on the Future of Bumiputeras and Nation 2018 on yesterday.
