LANGKAWI, Feb 14 (Bernama) -- The launch of a helicopter taxi service and a Tech Village are among the highlights of the Langkawi GO 4.0 Entrepreneurs Carnival at the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) Square on Feb 16 and 17.
Organised by the Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (DPMM), the carnival will showcase products integrating digital economic elements in the strive towards the fourth industrial revolution (IR 4.0), Kedah DPMM President Zuhaizar Abdul Karim said.
"This is the first DPMM is holding such a carnival to raise awareness, especially among Malay entrepreneurs, on IR 4.0 which the future world," he told a press conference here today.
Nearly 100 entrepreneurs will be taking part in the carnival, he said, adding that some of them had already produced Industry 4.0 products like online applications which were expected to boost the entrepreneurial spirit among the participants.
"For example, helicopter leisure service operator Faiz Fahmi Sazali has developed a smart app to provide a helicopter taxi service and we want more entrepreneurs to take advantage of this new technology to advance their business," he said.....
