KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 14 (Bernama) -- The Association of Bumiputera Women in Business and Professions (Peniagawati) expects its business-matching sessions, which will be held during the Malaysia Fashion and Business Mission to New York this September, to generate over RM5 million in potential sales.
Its President, Datuk Azlin Ahmad Shaharbi, said last year, the association succeeded in recording potential sales of RM5 million during business-matching sessions held between fashion designers and interested investors.
"A total of 15 fashion designers will take part in the sessions during the September show," she told a press conference here today.
Meanwhile, Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade) expected exports of lifestyle products to increase by five per cent for this year.
Its Chairman, Datuk Noraini Ahmad, said last year the exports were worth RM39.2 million compared to RM37.6 million in 2016.....
