SHAH ALAM, Dec 7 (Bernama) -- Gamuda Bhd's property arm, Gamuda Land Sdn Bhd (GLSB), has set a target of RM3.5 billion in property sales for the financial year 2018 (FY18).
Gamuda Bhd Group Managing Director, Datuk Lin Yun Ling said the company was on track to achieving the FY18 targeted sales, due to strong demand from its overseas projects.
"GLSB's property development projects in Vietnam, Singapore and Australia contributed two-thirds of the total profit for the financial year ended July 31, 2017(FY17).
"Property sales hit a record RM2.4 billion in FY17 with the Celadon City project in Ho Chi Minh and Gamuda City in Hanoi continuing to be the biggest contributors," he told reporters after the group's annual general meeting, here today.
Lin said strong demand for property in the Vietnam market was attributed to the robust economy there.....
