KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 12 (Bernama) -- YTL Corporation and Sime Darby Plantation are among the nominees for the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC) Innovation and Sustainability Awards (MISA) on Oct 26.
YTL Corporation was nominated for the Best Service Innovation category in respect of the company's holistic water treatment to reduce the impact of excess nutrients.
Sime Darby Plantation is in the running for the Best Product Innovation award for its efforts at increasing crop yield potential in palm oil plantations.
MDBC's Executive Director, Marco Winter said the sixth edition of the award would for the first time, include innovation for the integral part it plays in sustainability.
"MISA will stimulate healthy competition, create exposure opportunities and generate a platform to showcase innovation and sustainability, something of increasing importance to the Malaysian business community.....
