KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 8 (Bernama) -- The local global business services (GBS) sector would continue to see good prospects and strong growth, said Outsourcing Malaysia (OM) Tuesday.
In a statement, OM, a chapter of the National ICT Association of Malaysia (PIKOM), said this was evident by the continuing flow of foreign direct investments and progressive growth of the local GBS sector.
"The implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community and the forecast growth in global demand for GBS services also provides strong indications for a robust 2016.
"We are cautiously optimistic that current conditions, such as the depreciated ringgit, could work in the industry's favour next year," OM said.
Its Chairman, Cheah Kok Hoong, said the Global Business Services Outlook 2015 Report, which was the first industry report, provided a detailed analyses from the buyer's perspective.....
