KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 (Bernama) -- Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) strengthened its Turkish connections through two significant deals, marking the maiden entry of its high-grade graphene and carbon nanotubes (CNT) into the world market, while forging ties to supply its crude palm kernel oil (CPKO).
The exchange of the memorandum of agreement between FGV's new company, FGV Cambridge Nanosystems (FGV-CNS) and Nanokomp Ileri Teknoloji Malzemeleri Arge Dan Ins San Tic Ltd Sti (Nanokomp) was witnessed by the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in Ankara today.
FGV Chairman, Tan Sri Mohd Isa Samad and FGV Group President and Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah were also present to witness the document exchange ceremony.
FGV-CNS was represented by its Director, Dr Krzysztof Koziol while Nanokomp was represented by Managing Director, Onder Guney.
FGV-CNS, a start-up from the University of Cambridge, is the first company in the world to pioneer and produce high-grade and high-volume graphene and carbon nanotubes from by-products of oil palm plantation, such as methane gas, supplied by FGV.....
