Melaka To Make It Compulsory For TUBE Participants To Register With CCM

MELAKA, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- Melaka is in the midst of discussions to make it compulsory for Bumiputera Youth Entrepreneurship Programme (TUBE) participants to register with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) so that their progress can be monitored in collaboration with SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp).

State Agriculture and Entrepreneurial Development Committee Chairman Datuk Hasan Abdul Rahman said the initiative was aimed at ensuring that the participants would fully utilisethe financial assistance received to grow their business, thus contributing to Melaka and the country's economy.

"We are collecting information from all strategic agencies, including SME Corp in order to seek CCM's assistance in creating a TUBE network to facilitate the monitoring process," he told reporters after officiating the TUBE Mega 2017 in Ayer Keroh here, today.

Present was SME Corp Malaysia Board Member Agil Faisal Ahmad Fadzil.

Hasan said the agencies involved needed to implement various strategic initiatives and innovative approaches so that the entrepreneurs could strengthen and expand their business.....
