Business Module Improving Small Business Sales

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Enamoured by the beauty of the 'seroja' (lotus) flower, Norashikin Zainal Abidin decided to name the pastry she was making after the flower.

That was 11 years ago. Today, her business selling Biskut Seroja is still very much alive and even thriving.

Shaped like a flower and filled with peanut butter, the pastry was initially only sold at her village Kampong Peradong in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan and the nearby areas.

Today, the 47-year-old is enjoying brisk business nationwide, thanks to online selling techniques learned through the NTP-G module (New Technology Product by Google Apps) conducted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

The intensive promotion of her Biskut Seroja through social media earlier this year has resulted in a surge of orders for the pastry.....
