Singapore Takes Care Wildlife Pretty Well

SINGAPORE (Bernama) -- Early this month, the story about the lost 'Rahayu' going back home after being in good hands here in Singapore for almost 16 months caught the attention of many.

In October 2015, 'Rahayu', a 30 kg fully grown endangered Malaysian giant turtle was found crossing a road in Lim Chu Kang here with a fish hook lodged in its mouth. It is not known how she appeared in Singapore.

She was rescued by a driver who then brought her to ACRES or Animal Concerns Research and Education Society of Singapore.....
