Najib Launches Puteri Umno's Mobile App
The application, which aimed at disseminating various information to the public, especially young women and Puteri Umno members in the country, also offered information about the movement's administration and management.
Puteri Umno chief Mas Ermieyati Samsudin said the application would enable young women to obtain accurate and latest information on various issues and channel their opinions, suggestions and feedback to the movement.
She said what was more interesting was that the information channeled through the application could be obtained even without the Internet service.
The application can be downloaded into smart phones for free from Google Play Store, Apple Apps Store and Windows Phone.
Meanwhile, the prime minister also launched the Internship Mahasiswa Turun Parlimen (Mantap 4) programme involving 134 final-year undergraduates who would be attached to Barisan Nasional members of Parliament (MP).
Under the programme, the undergraduates would be able to follow the MP for their daily routines, especially when attending the Dewan Rakyat sitting.
The Mantap 4 programme will be implemented for one and a half month starting Sept 22.
