FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower Thursday on the back of a similar trend in the cash market, dealers said.
November 2009 contract slipped three points to 1,265.5 and December 2009 lost eight points to 1,259.5.
March 2010 dropped nine points to 1,260.0 and June 2010 decreased 10 points to 1,261.5.
The day's volume was lower at 12,285 lots compared with Wednesday's 13,330 lots but open interest rose to 26,366 contracts from 20,627 contracts before.
The underlying FBM KLCI shed 0.39 of a point to 1,270.61 at close, after oepning 0.71 of a point easier at 1,270.29.
