Nasharuddin Rushed To IJN After Complaining Of Chest Pain
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 23 (Bernama) -- The Member of Parliament for Bachok, Nasharuddin Mat Isa, 47, was admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) here Monday after complaining of a chest pain during the Dewan Rakyat sitting at 11.30 this morning.
The PAS deputy president was rushed to the IJN following a medical examination at the health clinic at Parliament House after he had complained of a chest pain to the Tumpat Member of Parliament from PAS, Datuk Kamaruddin Jaffar.
He was later seen being pushed on a wheelchair, accompanied by Kamaruddin and the Member of Parliament for Pokok Sena, Datuk Mahfuz Omar, at 11.40 am before going to the IJN.
When approached by reporters, Mahfuz said Nasharuddin "initially complained of a muscle pain in the chest and after an examination at the clinic, he was advised to go the IJN for further examination."
However, he declined further comment on Nasharuddin's condition.
