Heavy Rain In Kelantan, Terengganu And Pahang Until Tuesday
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 20 (Bernama) -- Intermittent and occassionally heavy rains are expected to continue in Kelantan and Terengganu until Tuesday.
The Meterological Department has issued a 'yellow alert' for heavy rains in its statement here Friday, saying the situation might cause floods in low-lying areas near river banks.
The statement advised the public to be careful and heed orders to relocate, should floods occur.
Beaches in Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang are also prone to increased water levels which could last until Tuesday.
Meanwhile, rough seas with 3.5 metre-high waves and winds of between 40 to 50 kmph are expected to pose a danger for small boats and sea activities on the shores of Kelantan and Terengganu, as well as Sabah's Terumbu Layang-Layang and Palawan and the state's northern areas, until Sunday.
