Senators On Seven-day Visit To Czech Republic
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- Senate president Datuk Wong Foon Meng is leading a delegation on a seven-day offficial visit to the Czech Republic and Belgium beginning Friday.
His private secretary Soon Boon Seng said during the visit, the delegation would call on Czech Republic Prime Minister Jan Fischer.
They will also call on the president of the Belgian Senate and visit the European Parliament in Brussels where they will meet up with its president and a few parliamentary committees.
The senators are also scheduled to meet Malaysian students in the Czech Republic.
Currently, 278 Malaysian students are studying in three universities in the republic.
