The two-day event will be attended by opinion makers in the field of plastic surgery which will also see life surgeries using the latest techniques in breast augmentation and cosmetic surgery at the Gleneagles Intan Hospital, here.
"Cosmetic plastic surgery is growing rapidly in Asia. There are lots of skilled surgeons out there who want to share lots of knowledge and so far there hasn't been any major meeting regarding breast surgery," Dr Randquist told a news conference on ABAS here Thursday.
He said the meeting would also attend to many underlying problems relating to breast surgery and cosmetic surgery like post surgical complications and the ethics of the surgeons involved.
"The Abas meeting with the theme 'Taking to the Next Level' is a landmark event bringing plastic surgery to the next level and setting standards for the next generation of surgeons with nine plastic surgeons embracing new methods and technologies of breast cosmetic surgeries," he said.
