Couple Nabbed For Alleged Abuse Of Two Siblings
KUANTAN, Oct 23 (Bernama) -- The police have detained a couple in connection with the abuse of an 11-year-old girl and her nine-year-old brother.
Pahang CID chief Supt Nordin Mustapha said today that the suspects, aged 35 and 40, were picked up at a house in Jalan Gambang Thursday.
He said the arrests followed a police report lodged by the couple's neighbour, adding that initial police investigations revealed that the victims had been abused over the past four years.
Nordin said the children were treated at the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital for, among others, bruises and bite marks on the body.
