CTRM Appoints Pertam Marketing Agent

MELAKA, Oct 20 (Bernama) -- Composites Technology Research Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTRM) has appointed Melaka Customary Land Corp (Pertam) to market composite boats produced by its subsidiary, CTRM Composites Engineering (CTRM CE).

"Initially, CTRM CE will sell the boats to Melaka River and Coastal Inc for use by tourists to cruise from Melaka River mouth to Pulau Besar," he told reporters after presenting the appointment letter to Pertam chief executive officer, Mohamed Nasser Selamat, here Tuesday.

Also present was Melaka Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam.

Rosdi said the boats would be suitable for river cruise.

He hoped that the boats, which were built at Bukit Rambai industrial estate, would help boost the marine tourism in the state.

CTRM was set up in November 1990 with Minister of Finance Inc as major shareholder.
