Seminar On Natural Health On April 18

KUALA LUMPUR, April 12 (Bernama) -- A seminar on world-renowned natural health physician and research scientist Dr Matthias Rath who made the scientific breakthrough connecting heart disease, cancer and many other chronic conditions to nutrient deficiencies will be held in Shah Alam on April 18.

Dr Wong Ang Peng, president of the Society of Natural Health, Malaysia, said Dr Rath's scientific discovery which "changes our understanding of the origins of heart disease" will be the focus of the seminar on "Natural Health and You".

Heart disease develops because of a long-term deficiency of essential nutrients in the vascular walls and not because of high cholesterol consumption through one's diet, he told Bernama.

Dr Wong also said that recent scientific breakthrough points to connective tissue integrity as a critical factor for blocking the invasion and spread of cancer cells.

"By understanding the mechanism by which cancer cells spread or metastasize, and later successfully developing a method to control them, Dr Rath has contributed a quantum leap forward to the path of defeating cancer," he said.

The society was set up to educate people on natural healthcare and reduce chronic and degenerative diseases which are plaguing the masses today.

Those who want more information on the seminar, to be held at the Veterinary Services Department, Selangor, at Lot 2, Jalan Utas, Section 15, Shah Alam, can contact the society's secretary, Saroja Theavy, at 013-3635641 or Laily Umar at 013-2279723.

There would also be presentations on cellular medicine, impact of genetic engineering on food and agriculture as well as the created confusion in natural health where people fail to realise that living healthily without chronic illness is possible.
