Agong Has Successful Knee Surgery In Germany
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 30 (Bernama) -- Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin underwent a successful knee surgery at the Rechts Der Isar Hospital, Der Technischen Universitat Munchen in Munich, Monday.
Tuanku Mizan is now recuperating at the hospital and is expected to be discharged soon, said the Istana Negara in a statement today.
The surgery was conducted by a team of surgeons headed by Prof Andreas B. Imhoff.
Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah and the royal couple's children, are keeping the king company in Munich.
Yang di-Pertuan Agong, who is expected to return home on Dec 12, thanked the people for their prayers during his surgery, said the statement.
