Don't Worry About Pahang's Deficit Budget For 2010 - Adnan
KUANTAN, Nov 20 (Bernama) -- Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob has asked all quarters not to worry about the state's 2010 Budget which will see a RM92.48 million deficit.
He said the deficit budget was only an estimation and that the actual budget, whether balanced, surplus or deficit, would only be known by the end of the year.
"Nevertheless, the deficit budget for 2010 is lower than the RM98.61 million deficit in 2009," he said when winding up the Pahang 2010 Budget at the state assembly sitting here Friday.
Adnan said in 2007, the budget estimate showed a deficit, but by end of the year, it saw a surplus of RM18.13 million while in 2008, the deficit was reduced to RM27.12 million as compared to the initial estimation of RM50.36 million.
