11 Go Home, Leaving 1,341 Flood Evacuees In Kedah
ALOR SETAR, Nov 18 (Bernama) -- The number of evacuees in four flood-hit districts in Kedah dropped Wednesday evening as 11 people were allowed to return to their homes, leaving 1,341 still at the relief centres.
A spokesman of the state flood operations room said the Kota Setar district had 904 evacuees, Kubang Pasu 64, Pokok Sena 59 and Bandar Baharu 345.
He also said that the level of Sungai Pantai Johor was 2.21 metres, above the danger point of two metres.
The levels of other rivers were at the alert point, he added.
