Most NRD Counters To Close For Deepavali

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 (Bernama) -- Most National Registration Department (NRD) counters throughout the nation will be closed for 2 days in conjunction with the Deepavali holiday this week.

NRD public relation officer Jainisah Mohd Noor said the NRD counters in Putrajaya, Kelantan, Terengganu, Sabah and all state head offices will be closed on Oct 17 and Oct 18, while Kedah for Oct 17 only.

Counters in Sarawak and Labuan however will operate from 9am till 2pm on Oct 17 and Oct 18.

NRD counters in all states will resume operation as usual on Oct 19, Jainisah said in a statement here Wednesday.
