| Tan Sri Ambrin Buang Reappointed As Auditor-General |

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- Tan Sri Ambrin Buang has been reappointed as the Auditor-General for two more years from Feb 23, 2010 to Feb 22, 2012, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan announced on Thursday.
In a statement here, Mohd Sidek said the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the advice of the prime minister and after consulting the Conference of Rulers, had consented to Ambrin's reappointment in accordance with Clause (1) Article 105 of the Federal Constitution.
Ambrin was appointed to the post for two years from Feb 23, 2006 to Feb 22, 2008 and reappointed for another two years from Feb 23, 2008 to Feb 22, 2010.
Mohd Sidek said Ambrin was reappointed to the post as his service as the Auditor-General was still needed.
