Malaysia Cup: KTM Extends Commuter Service

KUALA LUMPUR, 5 Nov (Bernama) -- Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTM Bhd) will extend its commuter service until the early hours on Sunday in conjunction with the final Malaysia Cup match between Kelantan and Negeri Sembilan at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil, here this Saturday.

In a statement issued here Thursday, KTMB Bhd said there would be additional train service after the normal operating hours on Saturday for the routes Bandar Tasik Selatan-Seremban, Bandar Tasik Selatan-Rawang and Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station-Port Klang.

For the route to Seremban and Rawang, the last train from the Bandar Tasik Selatan station will leave at 12.15am (on Sunday), while the last train to Port Klang will leave Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station at 12.40am.

Those taking the KTM commuter to Bukit Jalil should get down at the Bandar Tasik Selatan station and then change to the RapidKL train to the Bukit Jalil Stadium.

The public are advised to buy return tickets to avoid congestion at ticket counters.
