| Sabak Bernam MP Charged With Making False Claims |

SHAH ALAM, Nov 3 (Bernama) -- Sabak Bernam member of parliament Abdul Rahman Bakri pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here today to eight counts of making false claims, involving RM80,000, last year.
He is alleged to have committed the offence between January and February last year while he was Sungai Air Tawar assemblyman.
The alleged false claims include prizes and souvenirs for outstanding students, the People Friendly programmes and Maulidur Rasul programmes.
