|Sultan's Son And Sister Head Pahang Honours List
KUANTAN, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- Two members of the Pahang royal family head the state honours list in conjunction with the 78th birthday of the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah, today.
They are the sultan's youngest son, the Tengku Arif Temenggong of Pahang, Tengku Fahd Mu'adzam Sultan Ahmad Shah, and the sultan's younger sister, Tengku Seri Nila Utama Pahang Tengku Ainon Jamil binti Sultan Abu Bakar, who have been conferred the Darjah Kerabat Seri Indera Mahkota Pahang Yang Amat Dihormati (DK) II.
Three ministers -- Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen; Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Transport Minister Datuk Ong Tee Keat -- are among 20 people who have been bestowed the Darjah Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang First Class (SSAP) which carries the title "Datuk Seri".

They are Tengku Datuk Sulaiman Sultan Abu Bakar; Pahang State Secretary Datuk Muhammad Safian Ismail; Orang Besar Berlapan Pahang Datuk Setia Wangsa Datuk Mustafar Abu Bakar; Election Commission chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman; Army Field Commander, Sungai Besi Camp, Lt Gen Datuk Zulkifeli Mohd Zin; Solicitor General Datuk Idrus Harun; Proton Holding Berhad managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir; Prime Minister's Department senior deputy secretary-general Zainol Othman and Wisma Felda director-general Datuk Ahmad Tarmizi Alias.

Ninety people have been conferred the Darjah Indera Mahlota Pahang (DIMP) which carries the title "Datuk". They include Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department K.Devamany, Pahang state council members Mohamad Safri Ab Aziz and Shafik Fauzan Sharif, Ketari assemblyman Dr Ng Keong Chye, Semambu assemblyman Pang Tsu Ming, Chini assemblyman Abu Bakar Harun, Senator Ir Hiang A Li and Muar Member of Parliament Razali Ibrahim.
Twenty-six people will receive the Darjah Setia Ahmad Shah (SAP), 65 the Darjah Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP), 79 the Darjah Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP) and 129 the Darjah Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP), 100 the Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC), 111 Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (PKT) and 361 Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK).
The investiture will be held at Istana Abu Bakar at 9am today (Friday).
