KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 (Bernama) -- Proton today rolled-out its new Savvy Lite and also announced a reduction in the cost of spare parts for all Savvy variants up to 30 percent. The move was to make the car affordable and reduce vehicle running costs in the long term.
For Peninsular, the Savvy Lite is priced from RM33,549 for the five-speed manual and RM36,549 for the automated manual transmission. This will offer first time and new car buyers a savings of between RM5,000 and RM8,000 from existing variants.
In a statement here, the national carmaker said bookings can be made at all Proton's sales network nationwide from tomorrow.
