| Yang di-Pertuan Agong Attends 207th Meeting Of Conference Of Rulers |

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 2 (Bernama) -- Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail attended the 207th meeting of the Conference of Rulers here Thursday.
He was accompanied by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the two-day meeting which started yesterday, according to a statement from the office of the Keeper of the Rulers Seal.
The meeting discussed matters related to defence, security, economy, the recently introduced Yang di-Pertuan Agong's Scholarship and the appointments of members of the Public Service Commission and Education Service Commission.
The meeting was chaired by Selangor's Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
All the rulers were present except for the Sultan of Pahang, who was represented by Tengku Mahkota Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, and the Sultan of Johor who was represented by Tunku Mahkota Tunku Ibrahim Ismail Sultan Mahmud Iskandar.
