Southern Region News November 10, 2009 20:12 PM Shah Rukh Khan Concert In Melaka On Dec 11 MELAKA, Nov 10 (Bernama) -- Bollywood heart-throb Datuk Shah Rukh Khan is scheduled to perform in Melaka on Dec 11. Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said today the concert was scheduled to be held at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Kerubong which could seat 40,000. However, the concert would depend on the sponsorship, he told reporters here today. He said he had invited Mamee-Double Decker (M) Bhd, a food production company, here to sponsor the concert. He said the actor-entertainer, who was honoured with a datukship by the state government last year, would not open a studio here as reported earlier. "He cannot give his full commitment if a studio is opened here but instead offered to be just an advisor," he said. Mohd Ali said the state government was looking for investors to open a film studio here by using the expertise of the Bollywood superstar who had millions of fans worldwide. -- BERNAMA
