KFA Denies Transfer Of Baddrol, Amirul Hisyam To JDT

ALOR SETAR, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- Kedah Football Association(KFA) has denied itsstriker BaddrolBakhtiar and midfielder AmirulHisyamAwangKecik will be moving to Johor Darul Ta'azim (JDT).

KFA honourary secretary Datuk AminuddinOmarsaid the information was not true as KFA management had notbeen informed of their desire to leave theassociation.

"To date, KFA has not received any news on the matter. Itcould be a rumour from unverified sources as no players haveexpressedtheir intention to leave the club.

"KFAhad held a discussion with all players earlier and we saw they were still keen to continue playing for Kedahand similarly KFA is also interested inretaining all players," he told reporters at Wisma DarulAmanhere today.

He was replying totalksthatBaddroland AmirulHisyamwere moving to JDT as thegossip wentviral in the past few days.

In this regard, he said the association had also not received any letters on chief coach MohdNidzamAdzhaYusoff leaving Kedah.

"We are still putting our hopeson MohdNidzamto continue guiding the squad and I want to confirm that Kedahhasnot received any news on the two matters," he said.

Aminuddinsaid the main focus ofplayers now was on the remaining Malaysia Cup matches in which all players had pledged to give their bestto defend their title this season.

Kedah will be meetingFelda United FC atTun Abdul RazakStadium on Oct15 for the first leg of 2017 Malaysia Cupsemi-finals.
