67 Individuals Rounded-Up In Operation At Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 14 (Bernama) -- Sixty-seven people were rounded-up in an operation involving the police and the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) at the Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market here today.

Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief Datuk Zainuddin Yaacob said they included eight locals, while the foreigners included from Myanmar, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia and Nepal.

"Forty-seven of them were detained for not having valid travel documents and 15 others tested positive for drugs. The remaining were released," he said in a statement here today.
