 ASSISTANT PRODUCER

Job Description

·        To produce or assist in the production of English News or other programmes  as needed.

·        To translate news item from Bahasa Malaysia to English.

·        To edit and proof read news materials.

·        To assist in graphics needed for news material.

·        To do voice-over of news materials.

Requirements

·        Possess a Degree/Diploma in broadcast journalism or  at least some experience in broadcasting.

·        Able to do Malay to English translation.

·        Team player, mobile, methodical and disciplined.

·        Willing to work long hours and able to work under pressure/meet deadlines.

·        Must be proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

·        Have good understanding of TV news production.

·        Willing to go for on-the-field assigments.

·        Must be IT literate.
